A farmer’s child can become a computer expert!
World on Wheels is a mobile digital computer lab scheme of HP which supports digital literacy drive of Government of India under the aegis ‘Pradhan Mantri Digital Saksharta Abhiyan’.
The objective of this scheme is to provide people in rural India with digital access to quality computer education, entrepreneurship training, common public services, vocational courses for youth, Video conferencing tutorials and digital literacy for masses.
This project has so far reached out to 15 million people in 6,375 villages.
The mobile lab is well equipped with HP computing and printing technology, software, e-Learning tools, solar power enablement, complete w-fi enablement, 20-seater space.
HP has offered their services to the Prashanthi Balamandira Trust and with this successful collaboration, we will be benefitting from the mobile digital computer labs across the Campuses starting academic year June 2018.
